At 7 am this morning I reached for my phone from my
bed to find out the results of last night presidential elections.
For about 30 seconds I laid there gob-smacked to think
that TRUMP had won the presidential race.
So from 18 months ago when we all laughed about his audacity to
run for it here we are today and the guy is moving into the White House..
Although I don't obviously vote in the US and usually don’t give a monkies about
Politics, why has this turn of events grabbed my attention so much
I don't place any faith in any ONE person or
one political party changing my life.
The only person I put faith in to do that is––myself.
Maybe you should consider doing this
VOTE FOR YOURSELF TODAY and do what matters:
* Do something that will make you happy
* Do something that will make someone else happy
* Set the timer for 1 hour and do as much work as possible without
lifting your head… See how good you feel about yourself after that
And if we do that then we'll probably be OK, and it's
unlikely to start WWIII.
So back to Trump, like him or loathe him he pulled it off
There are lessons to be learned
Everywhere this guy turned up he met resistance and anti Trump
But he stuck with it, he stayed strong, he fought back and he WON
All week I’ve met people who said he couldn’t do it and all I’ve heard today
is people saying ‘ I knew he would pull it off’
Band Wagon Jumpers as my friend John called them this morning…
In looking back at how Trump did this though a number of things happened.
He had a whole hand of ‘Trump’ cards (see what I did there) and played them
as best as he could….
My friend John who I mentioned already beat me to it however and wrote a better
article on it..
See here how Trump played his 5 Trump Cards
This also follows on from yesterdays blog about how you can’t
expect to win everyday (Read that HERE)– Trump knew that well and persevered and WON
